I am an executive creative director and creative / brand strategist who thrives on connecting the dots between commercial, creative and culture. With experience at top ad agencies - Ogilvy, TBWA and others - as well as a decade of building and growing internal agencies, I bring a strong balance of business acumen and creative strategy and storytelling to deliver work that works, and stories that matter.
I most recently headed up the creative studio at one of Africa's most innovative fintech companies, where I shaped creative strategy, and guided our creative team to deliver cut-through through-the-line marketing.
Prior to this, I co-founded and ran the in-house creative agency at Showmax, building the video streaming brand from scratch, launching sports' streaming across SA, Nigeria and Ghana, and being the creative force behind campaigns for prominent local and international shows - including HBO’s Game of Thrones, Succession, The White Lotus and more. My team and I repeatedly surpassed targets and earned multiple local and international awards.
My approach is multifaceted, emphasising cross-functional collaboration to foster a culture of shared vision and efficiency, creating psychologically safe environments, and keeping abreast of new technologies and responsible generative AI integration and experimentation.
I've been a key member on nine successful business pitches, and distinctions in post graduate studies in management and social entrepreneurship, combined with extensive experience in copywriting and creative direction at leading ad agencies give the businesses I work for the advantage of a blend of creativity, strategy, and business acumen.
